Merry Christmas.

Its Christmas. Like to wish all a Merry Christmas, and well, also a Happy New Year since the year 2009 is just like a couple of days away.

Hmm, this Christmas for me is quite a quiet one. Well, I dun agree that this is a symptom of ageing. Haha, just that most of my frens are busy. Well, so what did I do on Xmas Eve? Its a simple one. Hmm, none knew what time will our bosses release us, but than, we could go at 3pm. Hmm, pay Weemeng a visit at SGH as his dad was hospitalised for cancer. Hmm, hope that he will recover soon. Life is too unpredictable. Went SGH with Emily, Sengkeat and Vivien. Hmm, I guess that Weemeng will be strong to have all this on this festive season. Cherish our loved ones.

Oh, following that, went back home for dinner with Mum and Dad and Sis and Little Chloe. Hmm, always wanted to play with her everytime I reach home. Shes really a sweetie pie. Went coffee with Thomas and prawning at about 11 plus and reached home at 3 plus. Knocked out man. Though our catch was not that pleasing, it was a simple and cooling catch at the farm.

Oh, today is Christmas. Hmm, didnt plan anything much today since we are going over to aunt's place for dinner later. Hmm, oh, met up with Kel for washing session at my car park since its sheltered. His Swift Sports was a pretty babe with all the Arsenal accessories. Neat and tidy. But than, I found it quite expensive. Hmm, since I dun really go for performance. Hmm, for me, I guess I would doll up an ordinary Swift with the Sports accessories. ;) Hmmm, I borrowed his liquid wax to clean off some stains on my whitey on the roof top. It really works well. Guess I should keep one of such bottle in my boot. Washed whitey for the 2nd time this week perhaps due to the rain.

Hmm, this week was really not a good week to work since its festive season. Hmm, guess they should just give us more breaks in Dec. Haha, wishful hope.

Oh, time flies as well. Next week, Mr W is coming back Spore. Hmm, dunno, just thought that most probably he wun be able to adapt life back here after his 6 months in Houston whereby he had a car and a house to himself. Well, wake up, wake up, back to reality.

Looking forward to a better 2009 and a good Chinese New Year.

A month more to the end of 2008...

Hmm, a couple of weeks more mark the end of 2008. Well, time flies and looking back, I have been at work for 1.5 years exactly. Hmmm, well, at times, really misses school days whereby you call the shot. You are responsible for yourself, but at work, its different. No matter how shitty your day is, you have to still answer to your boss; your supervisors and take whatever shit that is along the way. Well, thats work. But than, somehow, at times, we just have to take work as a pinch of salt. Its not that you are not putting in effort, but than, life still goes on. =)

Hmm, its 1am now, but still wide awake. Hmm, its the time of the month again, checking of the previous month accounts. Hmmm, but than, hope that this month, nothing unpleasant happens again. Im terribly sick and tired of errors happening to my portfolio. Well, perhaps I need better luck.

Oh, havent tell you guys about my pretty niece. =) Shes just a sweet heart to all of us. Spending my night over today at my sis's place as my bro-in-law has to work overnight today, than, my mum suggested me to accompany my sis and tomorrow embark to work from here. Chloe is enjoying her sleep, but I also presumed that she will get up soon.

Ok, thats about all for now. Gonna get somethings done before going to dreamland.

Tmr might need to pick Sis and Baby Chloe from the hospital. Hope Chloe is well. Uncle loves her. Pricks me a little too, to know Chloe is alone in the hospital. But than, she got good baby frens with her too. =)

Deepavali...With Chloe.

Ok, today was Deepavali. But I didnt go out with frens. I spent the entire day at Mt Alvernia with Baby Chloe and Mum and the rest of the family.


Today Chloe is 2 day old. Many of our relatives visited her and well, she looks pretty much different from yesterday. Hahaha, people always says that babies change alot and this, I agreed.


It was quite tiring, to spend the entire day at the hospital. Dad followed Uncle back home in the afternoon while I accompanied my mum with the rest till 8+. Quite tiring, though I didnt do anything much. hahah.. I even doze off at the lounge in the afternoon, and well, must be the rain in the afternoon as well.

Had dinner at 8plus and sent one of the relative back. Hmmm, parked there since 11+ till 7+ and spent 11 dollars just on parking. But well, for Chloe ;)

Oooo..I bought Chloe her first Jian Mian Li...and I promised, lotsa to come.

While on my way to see her this morning, stopped by at White Sands and got her this biggggg Minnie Mouse Ballon. Well, its only today when I knew this kind of ballons arent cheap.

Oh, I happend to see this Ferrari Bucket Seat, which is red in colour with racing belts. Hmmm, very tempted to get for Chloe so that she can seat in style in my whitey. Think Wei definitely will wanna her to sit in style too.

Well, my sis was brave too.

My Beloved Niece will be a lucky girl...

Hmmm..well, this weekend was so fulfilling as we had another member added to our family. Its Baby Chloe, my beloved niece who arrived on Sun evening.

I remembered, it was Sunday evening and I was having a soccer game with my cousins at Changi. I arrived there at about 5 plus. It was shortly later when I wanted to change my shoes; my mum called me to inform me that most prob, my sis will be delivering soon as shes in pain over in the hospital. Well, I excused myself and immediately drove home and fetched mum and dad to the hospital. True indeed, it was minutes after we arrived that my sis gave birth to baby Chloe. Well. Shes the best present to all of us this weekend. Cant wait to see her in the dress that I bought for her. Will post it up soon. Well, shes the main attaction for all.

Samsung Race...

Hmm, had a splendid eventful Saturday in which we embarked 2nd in the Samsung Race held in Vivocity. Hmm, initially, I signed up without having any expectations of being the lucky 28 teams out of the 600 applicants that are selected to participate in the race.

Next, I was only informed by the coordinator the day before of the event and my team was selected.

Well, and previously, I signed Thomas up for the event with me without seeking for his consent as well, but I have confidence that he will agreed, and hence, went ahead.

We hit Vivo at 10am, though the race was in the afternooon at 3pm. We recce the entire place, drew maps and plans and some familiarisations. Haha. Well, I guess it paid off abit :) Though tired, but we had fun and was paid off. Thomas was confident that we would be among the top 5, though I told him that we might be in the top 10 but not top 5. Just proud that we did it.

I told Thomas "Wa, you know, this had been the most distance I covered in that short time for the past few months?..."

We evitably jumped over ple here and there...and nearly stepped on their fingers on some occasions...phew~~ totally didnt care much about our image.

Its a busy weekend...

Well, this weekend was really packed like shit. Sat, well, its today and so fast its over.
Went to work since morning till about 6.30 pm, hmm, rush off for a dinner and movie "Mama-Mia". Hmm, at times, I like to pack myself with things, so that I wunt have time to slow down my pace. Oh, forgotten to mention that I met Mummy for lunch as well, at my office downstairs as she was passing by the area during lunch, hence I asked her if she wanted lunch. We had a fulfilling lunch at Soup Spoon.

Hmm, well as for the movie, its quite a lame show, but a crazy and funny one. Something that you can watch with your brain switched off. Thats good enough for me on a Sat.

Sun, which has since arrived. Its gonna be work as well and gonna end the day with a Bdae dinner for one of my hall mate.

Ok, so its work this weekend, no weekends for slacking.

Its 2.19am, I think I better catch some sleep before I kick off my Sunday.

K asked me if I wanted coffee or hang out a while after work. Thomas and Cookie did come along as well. So we met at about 11 at Pasir Ris Park, this nice little cafe for coffee.

After the session...K dropped me off.

Wedding Season?

Is this the wedding season?....For the past 2 weeks, I have attended 2 dinners back to back on both Sundays. This has left me as a poor man, but happy for both couples to have found their life-partners.

Last Sun, was at Danny and Pauline's wedding dinner. Junwei was with me. Luckily he was at the same table with me; well, if not, I wouldnt have any one to talk to. A 50 table wedding at Rasa.










Oooo..this was at HL and JK's wedding dinner at Seletar. Its a smaller scale one. Seen here are Robin, Me and Kunz.

Hmmm, since quite some time havent treated Mum and Dad again.
Last Sat, thought that since I do not have any dinner appointments, decided to bring Mum and Dad out for dinner. Was pondering between Seletar, Vivo or Suntec. Hmm, in the end, brought them to Suntec for a sumptous Japanese Sukiyaki and Paper Pot.

Well, guess during normal weekdays, they wouldnt have much chances to enjoy better food, so, tink weekends should have something better. We ordered 3 pots :) Doesnt it look nice to have it on a rainy day?

Its Saturday, 13 Sep...

Woken up by my mum early this morning, at about 8.30am, when she came into my room, sat beside at my bed and talk to me. Thats what she will usually do on a Sat/ Sun morning, just a few mins chat. Perhaps, thats the time that she caught me, since occassionally, she will be asleep when Im back home.

Well, initially wanted to go breakie with her, but that she left with Dad without me. Perhaps she wanted me to laze a little while longer in bed.=) Oh, and she was telling me how good was Liu Ling Ling at the GeTai last night over at Loyang TPK. Hmm, actually, I quite like their songs as well and all the hokkien songs in 12 Lotus. Somehow, theres a favour to the songs. Well, you might say that I maybe low class, appreciating these songs; but than, these songs are much better than alot of the other chinese songs and well, most of them are also very sentimental ones.

Ok, well, some updates. Yesterday's dinner was a simple one with Sis and Bert at Barks. Well, we all like the place very much and its convenience and free-parking is always attracting us to go there on Fris, Sats or Suns for dinners. Its also not as crowded and hence good for Sis-Mummy-gonna be. =)

Oh, ok. Im excited as Im having my first niece next Month. October. Janell or Chloe, they havent decided, but Im sure she will be as sweet as her mummy, and as charismatic as her daddy, and perhaps, as funny and crappy as her Uncle Gareth, and also as attractive as her Uncle Garren. Lol. I will wanna bring her out on weekends, and well, cant wait. Guess she will be the upcoming gal in my life that I will shower my love. lol. That also applies to Uncle Garren lah, hes already stocking up alot of Carters from States to be brought back. Oh man, Janell/Chloe have tons of pretty and nice clothes.

So whats installed tomorrow? HL's wedding dinner in the evening. Hmm, next week another wedding dinner, I cant imagine.

Wei, just to update you. A couple of weeks back, Mum and Dad went to attend a National Day's Dinner at one of the Grassroots' Leaders Event. (I dunno how and why they attended in the first place, lol) Hmm, "Heng, Heng", they got 2nd in the lucky draw at the dinner and walked home with this hamper. Well, this hamper is nothing much spectacular, but filled with food.

Tao and Gracia were so happy to see food. Well, you should know kids and they started telling Mum to open it up as they wanted the food. Well, if got chance, get this Choco Pie by Lotte. Hmm, its nice and coincidently, this is also the snack that I used to buy for them. Its chocolate pie with a marshmallow embedded in it. Try it, if got chance. Oh, you can peek a boo into my room, slightly different, but well, its getting messy. ;)

Ok, had this pic taken with Thomas. Hmmm, Im wondering have I really aged and I guess I did. Today in the lift, YL told me that the way I portrayed myself (I was in the lift; right hand holding onto my document bag and my left hand was carrying a cup of freshly brewed cuppa from Philip St; try to visualise). She was saying "Uncle, you dun look like a fresh grad; you looked like you have been here for some time." I smiled; wondering was it a good or bad comment. lol.

Wat, we were borned on the same day, same month and in the same year.
Well, maybe Im fatter, thats why looking older. No no, I should say, wiser and more matured. Lol. Deceiving.~~

Updates.

Ok, heres a short update of whats happening recently. Hmm, oh, Xb is leaving for UK for 3 years on this exchange program with PWC. Hmm, well, its prestigious though. Wishes her all the best and be strong over there.

Ok, this week is peak again. Well, time flies, and Im still stuck at my RWA report. Darn. Its getting irritating and I cant find the error hidden in the report. Its so pek chek. Had been working almost everyday on it, less other BAU stuffs and I would say, the entire last month was busy like hell. Well, almost every alternate days there are OT. But guess, thats what my boss like. I remembered him saying that he expect us to spend more time on work than anything. Hmm, better not pen too much sensitive information here, just in case one day he chanced upon it, guess I will be stationed in his office permanently than. Haha.

Oh, today knocked off at about 1030pm, Hmm, tried so hard getting a cab. Well, heard from the cabbie later on that there was a massive jam at the CTE and many people are calling up taxis in the raining weather. Well, these few days, it has been raining almost every day. Hmm, good or bad; good in a way that the weather is cooling and bad in many ways, such as makes people sleepy, bringing inconveniences to people and well, stops people from getting some outdoor sports. Thats bad.

Oh, Monday was on National Day off-in-lieu and the entire day just whizzes past. I woke up, having the intention to head to the gym, but well, by the time, it was too late and was going to have lunch with mum and sis at Q Hotel. The buffet was affordable and good, at least for people with low expectations of food, just like me. =) Well, dunno what happen to my fuel door and it refuses to open. On the way sending sis back, popped by the service centre to get it fixed. Some alighnment issue, FOC of course, if not, Im going to give them a hard one. :) (Well, Im not that unreasonable ok, if they can give me an excuse why I should pay)

Ok, had a short walk-a-round at Compass Point with mum and sis and got myself a key bag. Hmm, its a nice one I would say.

Hmm, Oh, before I forget, would like to wish SF to have a good holiday as well. Im wishing for another one, but well, Im just wishing and nothing more.

Ok, guess its time for bed again. A day past. So much things to do and so little time. Well, I still got to find it somehow.

Funny...Are people that complex creatures that makes them so hard to understand?

Ok, a true life experience that I have encountered just a few mins ago...Hmm, there was this fren of mine, who was still in office, slogging. Hmm, than, x msn me, saying that x so xianz and pissed at work. Well, I can only tell x that its so late already, go back and rest, tmr than do.

Guess what x says; "you think so easy arh"...hmmm, abit dumb-founded, as I dunno what else I could say. Perhaps x thinks Im simple and dun understand what x is doing at all. Well, I have already tried my best, as a fren, consoling X and putting some good words to encourage x. Hmm, ok, I have tried.

Well, being nice doesnt pay. Well, shant bother and go and get my sleep. It has already been many shitty days at work for this entire month, well frens, be appreciative that I didnt vent out any, though Im like swallowing. Today, for instance, I nearly wanted to tell my Sup that Im done with all this. Its not my cut.

Well, tomorrow will be better. =]

Some Nice Cars....

I think this couple is rich. There are 2 Beemers at my carpark, bearing the same number plate, 9449. Hmm..seems like the same family, the Husband drives the 5 Series and the wife, the 3 Series, but well, both of the cars are maroon. Hmm, maroon for Beemers are not that attractive, thats what I thought. I think I would like 2 Whites. Cool~ Well, this pair of couple Beemers reminded me of something. I remembered theres once, I would always dream about what I can drive and what I can afford for my 'future spouse' (if). Haha, thats funny. Wait till I post the combinations, you will laugh. :)
















Think this pair of couple car seems nice as well. Though perhaps its just conincidence that these 2 cuteys parked together. Perhaps, this pair is much more affordable than the top pair. Not that bad afterall. Ok, I shall stick to this. Lol.

Sunday Dinner @ Seoul Garden

Hmm, last Sunday, me, Sis and Bert had a sumptous and fattening dinner at Tampines Seoul. It had been at least 10 years, since I stepped into that place. Still remember the younger JC days whereby BBQ Steamboat is drawing the crowds and people flood Marina South. Well, thats history as Marina South is a ghost town now. Hmm, ok, I think Im fat after the dinner...hahaha...

The Launch of BMW 1 Series...

Ok, there is this roadshow below my office, and well, as a car enthusiast, of course I will steal a moment or 2 to take a glimpse of the new BMW 1 Series.

Well, unlike the other 3, 5, 7 series, the 1 Series is cuter, but yet, didnt loose to any of her siblings in terms of performance and looks.

I like the hatch 1 Series. Issnt this beauty a cute and sporty hatch?
Ok, give me 5 years?...lol...

When Im young, I always have this ambition, or I named it as a dream to be able to get a Beemer by the age of 30. Is it still feasible? Well, not that practical though. At the end of the day, it still has 4 wheels and not a wing. Ok, I think I will drive a Picanto instead.

This week was shiong back in office, tons of things to be done and as Im supporting one of the Oracle application in Group Finance, theres a hiccup encountered by many users.

As such, many users send their queries in, well, Im still not the IT Helpdesk at the end of the day, but just try to see what are their problems and see if I can advise them on what to do. But well, my knowledge and means are quite limited.

I help a few users to run some queries and this user from Transaction Banking was seeking help as she cant use her system and I help her to run the report for this month as my access is of a higher level.

And when Im busy juggling all the other issues, after some time of the application, a message pop out at my screen and I have mixed feelings; one way feeling stressed and the other was "What? Is this a Joke....?"









It reads, " This query is estimated to take 79 Days, 2 Hours and 2 Seconds to complete."

Prawning...

The upcoming 'sports' in Singapore for lazy people, who wanna sit there and wait for prawns to come up to their hooks. Hmmm, my session at Pasir Ris Farmway last Sat night, till about 130am with Ah Huat. Hmm, ok lah..we stood and sat as well, chit and chat...haha...and of course, made a couple of frenly frens over there. Hmm, its cooling since its nite time and well, much more enjoyable and relaxing as I thought. A nice place to hang out with, with some frens, definitely not alone. Think I will be going more often, who wanna go with me?

Can I not go to work tomorrow?...Can feel the Monday Blues setting in. Its gonna be a busy week ahead, and there are already scheduled meetings at Tampines for this week. Thats torturous. I hate going there for meetings as always theres nothing much for us, or rather me to contribute.

My desktop is giving me lotsa problems, and I tink Im gonna give up on the 5 year old system and get a cheap one instead. Had been running around with it to get it solve, and efforts are wasted and its still giving me problems. Sigh~, just only tot of salvaging it, and well, if it still works, I can still use it since Im not using it for gaming. My laptop is as old and well, Im still using it to write this entry and also my work. Its fine though it takes me a bathing time to get it started, well, I have since lived with it and have no complains about it =)

Back in office...
Hmm..this week flies as well, just like other week. Oh, YL is coming back work from her maternity leave. Haha. Shes grumbling lotsa man. But well, she will enjoy moments without Darren's cries back in office. Perrine and Jas are complaining about work and some MW joke came about. Haha, I cant stop smiling when I recalled this joke. Its everyone busy period as well and oh, there will be a new guy coming in tomorrow and he will be sitting next to me. Just hope that hes a nice guy.

Back to some serious issues, and well, things to be done, havent been done. I think I need more time...lotsa time...Kept having the thoughts of there are somethings that I wanted to do, but just cant seems to recall. Is that a symptom of ageing?. =)

Friday's Dinner with Mummu & Sis @ Barks

Hmm, oh yesterday we had a simple and nice dinner at Barks. Sis has claimed that Barks has changed alot since the last time she came. I always thought Barks was a nice place, something that I would wanna look into venturing...Sis was very into eating nowadays also, perhaps girl girl has increased her appetite. :) Shes eating Fish & Chips...Oh yah, and our favourites, Chicken Wings.

Indeed...more and more people around me are blogging...Whats the reason behind it?

Hmm, realised that more and more people around me are blogging...whats the reason behind it, have anyone wondered? Why are we spending time, telling the cyber space about our lifes, when we wun know who on the other side of earth will read it.

Perhaps, at the end of the day, we just wanted to be heard, be it on big issues, grumbles or even the slightest issue. We want, at least someone out there to know that we existed.

Well, most would also post pretty pics of their lifes and whats happening around them, and what they wanted to share. For this, I would say I enjoy reading blogs, of at least people I know; friends, relatives etc.

We are often busy in our work and others committment, that often at times, we missed looking and cherishing frens and family around us. Perhaps thru these blogs, we are able to read about their lives and whats happening to them and get ourselves updated. =) I enjoy reading my brother's blog about his life in Houston, and all the things he does and his cosy home. It allows me to read at my own pace and as and when Im free.

Well, so whats about me today or rather this week? Hmm, this week is a busy week for me, doing checks on the previous month's figures, as usual, nothing new and well, today is the due day and I stayed till about 11pm in office. Hmm, not that late afterall, but well, I can say that Im tired. Well, but Im still awake now at 1.17am. Sharks, I tink I better steal some sleep again before Thursday kicks off?..)

Anyway, Im talking to Aunt Jo whos in San Jose. Hmmm, seems like shes enjoying life with her hubby around. :) Oh, and well, guess shes getting a CRV for herself. Congrats~

Hmm, talking about CRV, Im missing my Whitey. Just collected it back from the garage on Monday and havent really cruise with it. Busy these days at work, no choice.

New Font...How is it?

Hmm, I decided to change away the old boring font.
Hope this is nicer, and well, I have decided to improve a little more on blogging "proper English"
If not, it seems sloppy.

Oh, today went all the way to Sengkang CP for lunch with my deary sis. Taxi is expensive as Im late, hence caught one and paid $9 for it. Gosh~

But ok lah. Im expecting my first niece in Oct. Thats quite fast. Nowadays, I always will spend a little more time, looking at nice and cute dresses and KIV them for my future niece.

I wanna buy many things for my niece.=]

Quick Sentosa Getaway...

Today, I went to Sentosa for a quick getaway...with my colleagues...for the first time. As there was an intern who was leaving soon, we decided to have a mini event for her to celebrate with her as well. Though her stay had been extended, we still go ahead with this mini gathering. =)

It was a simple day. We met at 3pm, hang out at Koufu and Cafe Del Mar for drinks, had Ludge and Skyride and ended with the Musical Fountain. ;) Nothing into sports as some of them do not want to get sweaty, though Leonard wants and is kinda disappointed. haha.

Ended the day with a simple dinner at Food Republic. Simple day.

Oh, tomorrow is the 3rd Aug. Time flies. I would have to go back to office to run some jobs and get things done before the hectic week begins.

Well, part and parcel of life, but this month, will have some additional jobs as my supervisor had left my team for the other team. Our team is supervisor-less. Oh no, that may mean that we are on our own. Gosh~ And before she went over, she ask me coordinate some issues as well. Sianz~. The monthly logged issues and meeting, something that is always not moving and I got to take over the shit and coordinate with the IT department on our team's progress on some issues. This is a bomb as Boss always monitor this issue.

Apart of that, I had taken over one of Mr Soh's, 2nd Boss's assignment. That is the Operational Risk Management Reports. Hmmm, for this, I would have to monitor any changes in P&L of the Bank and submit to Group Risk for every month. This is quite lay-chey at times as often, we wun know when the figures changes.

Well, there is also another new task which is the Operational Risk Weighted Assets computation. I still havent figure out really how to do this piece of shit from the other AVP. Things are getting tougher. From now, every first 15 days of the month I would be busy and got to complete tasks before Boss nag again.

Well, its good to be busy at times. It makes time flies even faster.

NPCC Gathering

Just had the 3 months-once npcc gathering..well...everyone is fine...and hopefully, i didnt offend anyone with my jokes...well..i meant no harm, just wanna liven up everyone..

its 1am, initially, was very tired from a long day at OCBC Tampines, going thru the tiring meeting that didnt have any breaks...and it was like that since monday this week and there is another session on tmr...guess im going to die again tmr...but luckily, tmr is not only my products..tmr for me is Giro, but i think my team mate would be down to suffer with me as well for tmr...

anyway..today was trying to get things sorted out...still pretty vex with my claims for the white horse...think i will just get it repaired at my own cost....

sigh...

of course..things will get better :)

Sun, 13 Jul...Bad Sat.

Glad the hour hand struck 1, and that Sat, 12 Jul is over.

12 Jul, This afternoon, I met an accident.
My mind was blank for a moment.

Felt very sad, heart pain.
My 'horse' was hurt. Me too.

It was momentarily blank for me, as for that moment, Im not sure what to do, and in the centre lane. Just knew it was painful, inside my heart. It just celebrated its first month and it got hurt.

I tink, drivers will understand how hurt it can be.

Im in the centre lane outside Bugis Junction. Im alone, Im on my way to Sim Lim, just having the pretext of getting an LCD monitor for my desktop.
Altis on the left lane came into my lane, it didnt see that im there cos perhaps im in his blind spot. i jammed and horned...but too late. we touched each other...my front side wheel arch was dented and scratches at the bumper. i heard a bong." Heart fell.

we stop over outside sim lim sq to settle.
after driving off, i didnt realise there is a gantry and drove past it.
there it goes. beep. and i tink i will expect a summon soon.

darn sad, dun tink i will get over till it gets repaired.
im fine. just dazed and sad.

Well...Hmm..its wednesday at 1240am, and im still awake..Hmm..work is giving me lotsa pressure man...sigh...seems like things arent very right nowadays...

1.45pm - Wei will be at Houston for 1/2 year....

this morning, sent wei off at airport as he will be going to Houston for half a year...Hmmm....does it seems long or short....definitely, i will miss this bro of mine, though at times we share heat arguments, but still, as the saying goes, blood is thicker than water, and having live together for the past 25 years, if i told u that i didnt feel anything, thats a true lie.

hmmm, i would say that this bro of mine can be emotional at times too. though grown up and often the stronger between us, he is also a family man who will miss his family back here i guess, and of course, missing his dearly sister who will be delivering his first niece/ nephew in oct. i guess he will surely be excited for being the uncle the first time.

i saw tears of reluctance and warmth at the same time, to be sent off by the few family members of his at the airport, and perhaps that call from his dearly sister will make him even more unwillingly to leave his family for the next 6 months, nonetheless, i guess this will be a good career advancement for him. oh, and got to miss his dearly iris for the next few months, i guess that sucks as well.

think about it, what if im in his shoes, i tink it would be hard for me to hold back my feelings as well. i will definitely miss my family too, my mum, my dad, my dearly sis and my bro as well. and also not forgetting my frens. its all these, that made me cherish people around me.

back here, i will be left alone at home. i guess unless i working late or have assignment on, guess most of the time i should be back home to accompany my parents for dinner, if not, no one else is around at home. the serenity and silence can be quite unhealthy for my ageing parents.

Hmm. my mum's white horse should be out next week as the SE had called me. delighted and looking forward to it. im going to make it a pretty horse.
